Complementary information

2022 Nissan LEAF

The Nissan LEAF quickly became everyone's number one electric choice, which didn't happen by accident. The 2022 Nissan LEAF has an intuitive infotainment system and strong powertrains. However, that's only the tip of the iceberg. We have yet to mention its excellent fuel economy, the driving range, and the interior comfort the LEAF offers.

If you're in the market for an electric vehicle, the 2022 Nissan LEAF is a no-brainer. And even if you're in a market for different vehicle types, you'll miss out by not giving the 2022 LEAF a chance. So, visit us at Go Nissan North here in Edmonton, and take the peppy hatchback out for a test drive.

The standard model comes with an electric motor and a 40-kWh lithium-ion battery, producing 147 horsepower combined. The more powerful 214 horsepower trim comes with two electric motors and a 62-kWh lithium-ion battery. Both model types accelerate rapidly, without any issues reaching high speeds.

The fuel economy of the standard LEAF model is 2.1 L/100 km city and highway driving combined. The more powerful versions have an economy of either 2.17 L/100 km combined or 2.26 L/100 km combined. The 40-kWh lithium-ion battery will get you roughly 240 kilometres before it needs a charge, while the 62-kWh battery lasts for either 345 km or 364 km. Both versions take a relatively short amount of time to charge, and they can be charged with a 120-volt or a 240-volt power outlet.

The cabin is made from quality materials, with higher trims naturally coming with even nicer materials. There's plenty of space in the front seats, which are supportive and accommodating, and while the back seats have plenty of space, they aren't as excellent as the front ones. The cargo space is better than excellent for an electric car, so you'll be able to use the long-lasting batteries and travel around with your baggage safely packed.

The NissanConnect infotainment system is what you'll find on the 8.0-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, satellite radio, Bluetooth, four USB ports, and more. Upgrades such as automatic climate control, push-to-start, and a few others are available and plentiful.

If you've never seen the price of the 2022 Nissan LEAF, you might think it's not affordable. However, the opposite is true; you'll save a bundle at purchase and even more on fuel. Visit us at Go Nissan North here in Edmonton and experience the 2022 Nissan LEAF for yourself. This little electric hatch can be yours without breaking the bank if you like it.
